• Drilling Precision: We highly recommend using a drill press or a specialized drilling jig to guarantee completely straight, deep holes in the rear of your shelf panel. A wandering drill bit will cause shelf misalignment.

• Securing the Shelf: For permanent, zero-wobble installations, professionals apply a small bead of silicone or construction adhesive inside the drilled shelf holes before sliding the panel onto the steel rods.

Does one pack cover one shelf? It depends on your shelf length. A 2-pack provides two brackets, which is perfect for a standard shelf under 24 inches. For longer shelves, refer to our Quantity Guide above to ensure you have enough support arms to prevent center sagging.

Can these be adjusted after the wall is covered? Yes. The alignment mechanism allows you to adjust the tilt/angle and lateral position even after the backplates are fixed to the wall studs, making it easy to compensate for slightly bowed drywall.

What size hole do I need to drill into my shelf? You will need to drill a straight, clean hole with a diameter of 12mm (or a tight 15/32" bit) to a depth of at least 4-5/8" to clear the support rod.
