Each rod is fabricated slightly shorter than the stated opening to allow for the thickness of the required end supports (sold separately).
We automatically deduct 1/4 inch from the total length to ensure proper fit once end supports are installed.
Please measure the opening exactly wall-to-wall for best results.
Precision fractional lengths are required.
Example: If your opening is 25 3/4", enter 25 inches and select 3/4 as the fraction (provide these details in customer notes).
These rods are NOT expandable or adjustable.
Each rod is custom cut to the exact length you provide.
Size ranges (example: 12–30 inches, 31–48 inches, etc.) indicate the allowable cutting range only.
They do not mean the rod adjusts within that range.

Q: Why is my rod shorter than the size I ordered?

All rods are custom fabricated with a ¼-inch deduction to allow proper fit inside the end supports. This ensures correct installation and is intentional.

Q: What length will I receive if I order a 30-inch rod?

For a 30-inch opening, the finished rod length will be 29¾ inches to accommodate the end brackets.

Q: Should I order a larger size if my opening is exact?

No. Please order based on your inside opening measurement. The ¼-inch deduction is already built into the fabrication process.

Q: What if I am using different or existing brackets?

If you are using non-standard or existing hardware, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm compatibility or recommend a custom cut.

Q: Are these rods custom made?
