• Each rod is fabricated slightly shorter than the stated opening to allow for the thickness of the end supports.

• We automatically deduct 1/4 inch from the total length to ensure proper fit once end supports are installed.

• Please measure the opening exactly wall-to-wall for best results.

• Precision fractional lengths are required.
  Example: If your opening is 25 3/4", enter 25 inches and select 3/4 as the fraction (provide these details in customer notes).

• These rods are NOT expandable or adjustable.
  Each rod is custom cut to the exact length you provide.

• Size ranges (example: 12–30 inches, 31–48 inches, etc.) indicate the allowable cutting range only.
  They do not mean the rod adjusts within that range. 

Installation Instructions and Recommendations 

1. Mounting Surface & Location

• Closet rods are designed for horizontal installation between two vertical walls or cabinet side panels.
• Suitable mounting surfaces include solid wood, plywood, MDF, or particleboard, provided they are sufficiently thick, structurally sound, and securely fastened.
• Direct mounting to drywall without structural backing or to thin, unsupported panels is not recommended.
• Ensure the mounting surfaces can support the rod and its intended clothing load.

2. End Supports & Mounting Hardware

Use the appropriate end supports and mounting screws supplied with your kit.

• Rear Pin-Style End Supports: Each support features two rear-facing 3/16" (5 mm) locating pins spaced 1-1/4" (32 mm) apart, along with a center mounting screw hole. These pins are designed for compatible European 32 mm cabinet and closet systems.
• Screw-In End Supports (when available): Designed for conventional screw-mounted installation without locating pins.

3. Installation Options for Pin-Style Supports

If your kit includes pin-style end supports, there are two installation options:

• With Pins: Pre-drill two matching 3/16" (5 mm) holes in the mounting surface, spaced 1-1/4" (32 mm) apart. Position the support so both pins fit into the holes, then secure it using the center mounting screw.
• Without Pins: If your installation does not accommodate the pin configuration, the pins can be carefully snapped off using appropriate tools. The supports can then be mounted using the center screw and suitable fastening hardware.

4. Final Installation

• Install both end supports level, at the same height, and securely fastened before inserting the rod.
• Confirm that the rod is properly seated and supported at both ends before loading clothing.
• For longer spans, an additional center support may be recommended to help prevent excessive rod deflection, depending on the rod length and clothing load.

5. Printed Installation Instructions

• Printed paper installation instructions are not included with closet rod kits. Basic installation information, mounting configurations, and hardware details are provided in this product listing.
