For rods over 36", we recommend a center support for additional stability. Actual weight capacity of approximately 75–150 lbs depends on rod length, mounting surface, support configuration, and installation method.

IMPORTANT ORDERING & MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Each rod is fabricated slightly shorter than the stated opening to allow for the thickness of the end supports.
We automatically deduct 1/4 inch from the total length to ensure proper fit once end supports are installed.
Please measure the opening exactly wall-to-wall for best results.
Precision fractional lengths are required.
Example: If your opening is 25 3/4", enter 25 inches and select 3/4 as the fraction (provide these details in customer notes).
These rods are NOT expandable or adjustable.
Each rod is custom cut to the exact length you provide.
Size ranges (example: 12–30 inches, 31–48 inches, etc.) indicate the allowable cutting range only.
They do not mean the rod adjusts within that range.

Installation Instructions

The TAG Hardware Concave Wardrobe Rod features a patented two-piece end-support design. Each support consists of a mounting base and a precision-fit insert that fits into the end of the rod. Together, these components securely hold the rod and provide a clean, finished appearance.

1. Position the End Supports

Determine the desired height and location of the rod.
For standard closet systems with 5 mm (3/16") system holes, align the two mounting pins on each support with the corresponding holes in the side panel.
For other mounting surfaces, position the supports where desired and mark the screw locations.

2. Secure the End Supports

Secure both mounting bases using the included screws when installing into wood or similar materials.
The two mounting pins help keep the support properly aligned and prevent it from rotating.
If installing into drywall, metal, MDF, particleboard, or another material, use screws or anchors appropriate for that specific mounting surface.

3. Install the Rod Inserts

Insert the supplied support insert into each end of the concave rod. Make sure each insert is fully seated inside the rod.
The insert is designed to work with the mounting base and securely support the rod end.

4. Install the Rod

Place the rod between the two mounted end supports and seat both ends fully into the supports.
Make sure the rod is properly aligned and both ends are securely seated before applying any weight.

5. Final Check

Before loading the rod, confirm that:

Both end supports are securely fastened.
Both rod ends are fully seated in the supports.
The rod is level and properly aligned.
The supports are stable and do not move or rotate.

The rod is then ready for normal use.
